TPO Roofing Systems
Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) is a single-ply roofing material that contains polypropylene and ethylene propylene polymers, reinforced with polyester. TPO is typically used in both new construction and re-roofing applications as well for flat or low-slope roofs. TPO roofing is known for its strength and durability as well as for its superior resistance to moisture and ultraviolet light. TPO provides a highly-reflective roofing surface making it extremely energy efficient. Its flexibility in hot and cold temperatures make it a good roofing systems for areas with extreme weather conditions.
Single Ply Membrane TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin)
TPO roofing is reliable, cost effective, easy to maintain, environmentally friendly, and easily conforms to numerous roofing situations. TPO Roofing Systems are made of three layers – a TPO polymer base, a strong, polyester-reinforced fabric center, and a durable thermoplastic polyolefin compounded top ply.
TPO roofing systems are more resistant to tears, impacts, and punctures than other single ply membranes.
